 #DigIn Camp Registration

Digital Inclusion (#DigIn) Camps are working sessions to help schools become digitally inclusive for everyone. As part of an agreement between the DOE and the Office of Civil Rights NYC school websites are required to meet W3C’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA by the end of 2020.

In partnership with the NYC Schools Office of Digital Inclusion (#NYCSchoolsDigIn), eChalk and the DOE will be hosting a number of meetups where you can learn what this means for your school and how to create content that is accessible for people with disabilities.

Basic Training:
Required of all NYC DOE School Webmasters
Prerequisite for further DigIn Camps
Topics Include:
- What is Digital Accessibility and what are the requirements for my school’s website?
- Hands-on: How can I test my website’s current accessibility?
- Hands-on: Make initial improvements to your site.

Beyond Basics:
Additional focused hands-on topics to improve your site’s accessibility.

Participants will receive 3 hours of CTLE Credit.
