The Board is composed of superintendents from across the country, and represents a diversity of school districts by size and geographic location. Dr. John B. Peper, former Superintendent, Jefferson County Public Schools in Colorado, will chair the committee. Member superintendents include Dr. Stephen W. Daeschner of the Jefferson County Public School District in Kentucky; Dr. Karen A. Forys of the Northshore School District in Washington state; Dr. Hal D. Guthrie of the Spring Branch Independent School District in Texas; Dr. Jane Hammond of Jefferson County Public Schools in Colorado; Dr. Mary R. Leiker of Kentwood Public Schools in Michigan; Dr. Doug Magann, former Superintendent of Georgetown County Schools in South Carolina; Dr. James R. Rickabaugh of Whitefish Bay Schools in Wisconsin; and Dr. Robert D. Tschirki of the Cherry Creek School District in Colorado.
