Why did you choose to work in education?

I have great respect for educators. My grandfather and my father were both teachers. Education’s impact is lifelong for students. eChalk empowers educators to create a collaborative, student-focused learning environment that positively impacts student performance. I am an engineer at heart and my contribution to eChalk gives me a sense of achievement that fulfills my desire to contribute to education.

Describe the eChalk culture.

eChalk’s culture embraces teamwork, challenge, reward and recognition. We are passionate about what we do. My values are aligned with eChalk’s mission and commitment to helping schools by providing a great online learning environment and that’s what is different compared to my past work experience.

What's most satisfying about working at eChalk?

We receive lots of feedback from our customers: administrators, teachers, students and parents on how eChalk helps them transform learning and instruction through improved communication. That makes for a very satisfying feeling.

Describe your fellow eChalkers.

I get a sense of family around eChalkers. They are very friendly, talented and passionate in what they do. We eChalkers recognize our differences and use them as strengths to provide the best solutions for our customers. Our passion to help education makes us unique and keeps us going.

How do you describe eChalk to your friends and family?

I take pride when I mention eChalk to anyone. Quite a few of my family members are students and interact with educational software. When they voice displeasure or dissatisfaction about their software, I take the opportunity to brag about eChalk’s offerings and mission. I also love to discuss with my developer friends how eChalk solves technical issues.

“eChalk Lesson Planner gives administrators the tools and the information they need to complete the data analysis picture.”
