Why did you choose to work in education? 

I had come to a junction in my career where I had an opportunity to choose a new direction. I chose education because it allowed me to be a part of a movement that was personally fulfilling to me. I was drawn to eChalk because it offered me an opportunity to work in a corporate environment with a meaningful mission—using technology in a constructive way to enhance education.   

Describe the eChalk culture.

In the past, I’ve worked in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. eChalk’s environment is the best of both worlds because it has a high caliber of professional talent, as well as group interaction that fosters team work and interpersonal unity.

What do you find most satisfying about working at eChalk?

Working at eChalk thoroughly utilizes my skillset and challenges me to grow and nurture my skills. For me, there’s never a dull day at eChalk and I love it!

Each member of the eChalk team is hand selected and undergoes a rigorous selection process. This method ensures that besides having the necessary credentials to qualify on paper, each person possesses the work ethic needed to be an effective member of any team within the organization.

Is there one event that stands out during the time you’ve worked at eChalk? 

Our NYC team is quite innovative. Every year they host a customer event called eChalkapalooza at the NYC office showcasing the latest product features. One year it had a carnival theme with classic hotdog and popcorn stands, raffles and game stations. The team truly transformed the office into a really impressive amusement park.

Tell us what you look forward to most at eChalk. 

I look forward to the growth of the organization. Since I’ve been with the New York corporate office we've opened up satellite offices in Austin, Atlanta and New Jersey. It’s exciting to be a part of a growing organization.
