Executive Team

Joe brings more than 20 years of experience as a sales executive, leader and mentor to his role. Most recently, Joe was Senior Vice President of Sales for TetraData. Previously, he was Vice President of Sales for 4GL School Solutions, Vice President of Sales for Eduprise, Co-founder and President of Spire, General Manager of IMTECH and Executive Vice President and General Manager of Prentice Hall Professional Software. 

Joe is a graduate of Colgate University and holds a MBA from the University of Notre Dame.

Why did you choose to work in education? 

My wife is a teacher and I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact that well-designed technology solutions can have on the teaching and learning process.

What drew you to eChalk? 

eChalk stands in the center of the field. We have the ability to assist our customers in maximizing the potential benefits of all the technology that they employ.

Describe the eChalk culture. 

So many of us have direct experience in education that we truly see the impact we can have on teachers’ and students’ lives. The drive to see that impact come through is evident in the passion and commitment that our team brings to their work every single day.

What do you like best about working at eChalk? 

Being surrounded by passionate, talented people that believe we can make a positive impact on the U.S. education system.

What satisfies you most about working at eChalk? 

Seeing our belief turn into reality—when we see our customers achieving positive results via their eChalk relationship.

Is there one memory that stands out during the time you’ve worked at eChalk? 

The very first customer that I met told me that she and her team could not achieve all of their objectives without us.
