Professional Learning Manager

Description 

eChalk’s Professional Learning Managers are based in different parts of the country and design, schedule, manage and deliver on-site training and professional development services for schools and districts to ensure the successful use and integration of the eChalk system.

Responsibilities 

• Design, prepare and deliver on-site training and professional learning services for schools/districts, evaluate outcomes and recommend follow-up activities
• Collaborate with district representatives to ensure that training and professional development is consistent with school/district needs and standards
• Partner with eChalk Project Managers, Project Coordinators and Sales team members to recommend and develop professional learning programs and proposals for schools/districts
• Manage the tracking and reporting of all on-site training and professional learning services in assigned region(s)
• Deliver strong, creative and dynamic trainings, product demonstrations and other support activities
• Assist in the development of eChalk’s training materials such as instructor guides, manuals, handouts, online learning activities and other materials
• Provide feedback and status of clients to members of the Client Services team 

Requirements 

• BA/BS degree in Education required; MA/MS in Education or Education Technology a plus
• 5 years of K-12 teaching experience
• Professional teaching license is highly preferred
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently without daily supervision
• Knowledgeable in a variety of information technologies such as multimedia presentation tools, productivity applications (e.g., MS Office) and online authoring tools
• Familiarity with Web technologies (basic HTML, discussion forums, blogs, content management systems, etc.)
