Client Services / Project Management

Description 

eChalk, Inc., the leader in online educational solutions specifically designed for K-12 schools and school districts is currently looking for an enthusiastic, Client Services professional to support K-12 schools and districts in using and adopting our leading web-based communications platform. Client Services professionals works closely with a regional team based in NY or Austin, TX, to deliver high quality service to our new and existing customers. This role will also work directly with a diverse group of schools and districts and present to key personnel including Principals, Superintendents and School Board members. Currently, we are seeking Client Services professionals to fill the following roles:

  • Client Specialist
  • Client Manager
Available locations:  
  • Satellite office in Austin, TX
  • Corporate office in New York City
  • Satellite office in Somerville, NJ 
  • Remote (home-based) Midwest regions including Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois or Iowa

Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate system implementation and ongoing project management 
  • Resolve support issues and deliver product news, updates and training materials 
  • Work with school leaders to develop goals and plans for enhanced communication and use of eChalk technology
  • Ensure customers renew and expand eChalk services and manage the renewal process for client base

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated ability to develop working relationships and manage project teams of diverse school district and/or public sector personnel including members of IT, Communications, Curriculum and Instruction and Senior Leadership
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while remaining results-oriented
  • Ability to quickly analyze a situation and make recommendations
  • Articulate and able to present to a diverse audience, both in person and remotely
  • Works well in a team while taking initiative individually
  • Periodic travel to work onsite with clients.
  • High comfort level with technology and Web-based applications
  • PC and Mac literate. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Web publishing software (Publisher, FrontPage, HomeSite, etc.)
  • Experience working with K-12 schools and districts is a plus
